Use this guide to capture everything needed for a professional Dream Hammer Media recruiting profile. Follow each step carefully, and check off items as you complete them.

📸 Step 1 – Photos

  • Most recent headshot – clean background, well‑lit, no hat, chest‑up.
  • In‑action photos – at least 5 high‑quality shots: hitting, fielding, pitching, base running, etc.

🎬 Step 2 – Video Uploads (Unlisted YouTube)

Create an unlisted YouTube playlist and upload the following videos. Make sure each video is unlisted and the playlist link is ready to share.

  • In‑game footage – pitching/hitting highlights (angles detailed below).
  • Get to Know Me video – see questions in Step 8.
  • Secondary Skills video – defensive skills, pickoffs, etc. (details in Step 7).
  • Combine metrics video – 60‑yard dash, arm strength pull down.

📋 Step 3 – NCAA Eligibility Center Registration

  1. Go to https://web3.ncaa.org/ecwr3/ and click “Register for a Profile Page”.
  2. Create an account. You’ll receive an NCAA ID number immediately.
  3. Complete all sections: academics, sports participation, payment ($100 for domestic).
  4. Request your high school counselor to upload your official transcript.
  5. Timeframe: Initial registration takes 20–30 minutes. Full certification can take 2–6 months.
  6. Your NCAA ID: Log into your account – it appears on your dashboard.

  • Open Rapsodo app → select session → tap “Share” → “Copy Link”.

GameChanger

  • In GameChanger app, go to team page → tap share icon → “Share Team Link”.

📍 Step 5 – Schedule HitTrax / Rapsodo Session

Use the official HitTrax facility finder. Closest facilities to Pueblo, CO:

What to film at the facility:

  • Bullpen (20 pitches) – two cameras: behind arm‑side shoulder (horizontal) + whole body & target (horizontal).
    Pitches needed: Fastball (3 full speed, 2 slow‑mo), Secondary (3 full speed, 2 slow‑mo).
  • Hitting (10 swings) – jersey button side, no net, horizontal, full body. 5 full speed + 5 slow‑mo.

🎥 Step 6 – In‑Game Footage Angles

Pitching

  • Behind the plate, arm‑side corner, horizontal. Capture entire motion and catcher’s glove.

Hitting

  • Jersey button side, horizontal, full swing through contact and extension.

Combine Metrics

  • 60‑yard dash: camera behind finish line, horizontal, athlete in frame start to finish.
  • Arm strength pull down: use radar gun or HitTrax/Rapsodo; film the throw.

⚡ Step 7 – Secondary Skills Video

  • Fielding bunt + throw to first (3rd base line, 1st base line) – horizontal.
  • Pickoff move to first: stride move and quick move (horizontal).
  • Pickoff move to second: step‑over and quick move (horizontal).
  • Banana route: two routes and receive flip from first baseman.

🎙️ Step 8 – “Get to Know Me” Video

Filming guidelines: Straight‑in shot, head and upper torso visible. Well‑lit, no hat, speak clearly. Do not read from notes. Answer in one continuous take.

  2. Describe a time you failed or struggled in baseball. How did you respond, and what did you learn from it?
  3. What do you believe is your biggest strength as a teammate?
  4. What’s one thing you’re working on right now to improve your game?
  5. Why do you want to play college baseball?
  6. If a coach walked into the locker room and asked your teammates to describe you in three words, what would they say?
  7. What’s the best advice a coach has ever given you, and how did you apply it?
  8. Outside of baseball, what are you passionate about?
  9. Who has had the biggest impact on your baseball journey, and how?
  10. What role do you typically play on a team (e.g., vocal leader, lead by example, energizer, etc.)?
